The Porcelain Veneer Process

In this video, Dr. Essence Campbell explains how porcelain veneers are placed and what patients can expect along the way.

With porcelain veneers, we begin by gently preparing the front of the tooth and a small portion behind it, typically removing no more than about 1 mm. This allows the veneer to fit naturally and securely.

After the preparation, a temporary veneer is placed so you can leave the office with a normal-looking smile. About two to three weeks later, you return for your final visit, where the permanent porcelain veneers are cemented in place.
