Conventional Implants vs Mini Dental Implants

In this video, Dr. Tracie Battle explains the key differences between traditional dental implants and mini dental implants, and why treatment timelines can vary so much.

Conventional dental implants can be a good option. However, in my practice, we often favor mini dental implants because the healing time, restoration timeline, and overall patient experience are typically faster.

With many mini dental implant cases, the implant can be restored the same day it is placed. Healing is quicker, and patients do not have to wait four to six months before the tooth or denture is attached. In most cases, we can place the implant and restore it immediately, allowing patients to move forward without long delays.

Both options can be effective, but mini dental implants often provide faster results and fewer disruptions to daily life.
