What Is Full-Mouth Reconstruction?

In this video, Dr. Tracie Battle explains what full-mouth reconstruction involves and when it may be recommended.

When we talk about full-mouth reconstruction, that entails someone coming in who has broken or chipped teeth or malocclusion, where we may need to remove several teeth.

When those teeth are removed, you still need something to eat with, so we restore you immediately. In full-mouth reconstruction, all teeth are removed on the same day. A prosthesis is made for you prior to your appointment, and then we restore you immediately upon placing the implants.

So full-mouth reconstruction entails all teeth removed, new teeth placed, and a brand-new smile.
